The Problem:
Joyland Roofing & Gutters, a roofing and gutter contractor in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, was paying $275 a month for QuickBooks Advanced. Like most contractors, the company needs the software to run the business, but had no time to negotiate with vendors, and QuickBooks prices kept going up.
What We Discovered:

On August 1, 2026, QuickBooks raised Advanced to $340 a month. With its free year ending, Joyland was set to renew at the new, higher price. We went back to QuickBooks and did it again: another 100% discount for another full year.

QuickBooks prices keep climbing. According to NerdWallet, QuickBooks Online Advanced went from $200 a month in 2023 to $340 in 2026. Promotional pricing ends, and renewals default to the new price.
